Growth Group Guide

  1. Do you remember anyone's last words?
  2. Read Acts 20:25-27. Why is Paul innocent? How can a church be responsive to faithful preaching and proclamation?
  3. Read Acts 20:28-31. Whom should the Ephesian elders keep watch over? Why?
  4. If applicable, describe a time you encountered false teaching. How did you know it was false? What did you do?
  5. Read Acts 20:32-35. How does "God and … the word of his grace" (v. 32) edify a Christian? How have you seen God's word shape your own life?
  6. How does Paul demonstrate a deep love for truth, but also a deep love for people?
  7. How does the gospel demonstrate God's love for truth and people?
  8. Between truth and people, which do you find more challenging to love? How can you grow in that area?
