Growth Group Guide

  1. Would you rather receive or give correction? Why?
  2. Read Acts 18:22-28. What do you learn about Paul? Priscilla and Aquila? Apollos?
  3. Which character are you most like? Why? Which character do you wish you were like? Why?
  4. In vv. 24-25, what does Apollos have going for him, and what is his gap? Regarding yourself in life and ministry, what do you have going for you, and what are your gaps?
  5. In v. 26, how do Priscilla and Aquila correct Apollos? What can we learn from that? Have you received or given such correction? How did it go?
  6. What evidence is there in vv. 27-28 that Apollos responded positively?
  7. What has been your experience of worshiping at a local church while traveling? What are the challenges and benefits?
  8. How well do think our church knows the Scriptures? What gaps might there be?
  9. Like Apollos, do you desire to minister to others? What does that look like for you?
  10. How can you strengthen our church?
  11. As a group, pray through Ephesians 1:15-23.
