Growth Group Guide

  1. Describe a time when your plan completely changed. For example, you thought you were going one direction, but ended up somewhere totally different.
  2. Assign the following excerpts to different people: Acts 15:36-41; 16:1-5, 6-12, 13-15, 16-22, 23-34, 35-40. For each excerpt: (1) What are the ups and downs in your excerpt? (2) How does your excerpt connect to the section before and after?
  3. Trace the ups and downs in Acts 15:36-16:40.
  4. Despite the ups and downs, Who is still in control according to Acts 16:6, 7, and 10?
  5. If you are a Christian, how far back can you trace the line? That is, how did the person who led you to Christ themselves become a Christian? Who led that person to Christ? Etc.
  6. What story can you see the Lord weaving in your life?
