Growth Group Guide
- If you could ask the smartest person in history one question about life, what would you ask—and why?
- According to Jesus in Luke 12, what is the key difference between possessing wealth and being rich toward God? How does this distinction shape our understanding of what truly matters in life?
- What does it mean to you that Jesus is the smartest person who ever lived? How does this perspective change the way you approach his teachings?
- Neuroscience shows that recognizing and refocusing our thoughts can help manage anxiety, worry, and fear. Jesus offers specific ways to do this, such as considering God's care for the ravens and lilies (Luke 12:24-28). How might these practices help you trust God more in times of uncertainty?
- In the parable of the rich fool (Luke 12:16-21), Jesus warns against making abundance the focus of our lives. How can we shift from "laying up treasure for ourselves" to being "rich toward God”?
