Growth Group Guide

  1. Share a happy Christmas memory.
  2. Read Hosea 1:1-9. How is the (apparent) hopelessness of this relationship conveyed?
  3. What would happen if you treated your spouse or close friend with the same lack of attention and care we sometimes give God?
  4. Agree or disagree: "Sin destroys a person’s relationship with God."
  5. Have you ever felt the repulsive nature of sin? Describe.
  6. Read Hosea 1:10-2:1. Where is the hope? How do we see this hope ultimately fulfilled at Christmas?
  7. Memorize Hosea 3:1.
