Growth Group Guide

  1. Tell a story involving your siblings. If you don’t have siblings, did you ever wish you did? Why or why not?
  2. Read Genesis 29:14-30. What do you think Jacob would have written in his journal over those fourteen years?
  3. Based on Genesis 29:31-30:24, describe the relationship between Leah and Rachel. How do we see that evidenced in the names of their children?
  4. What changes in Leah in Genesis 29:35? How is she liberated by God’s love?
  5. In your own words, describe God’s liberating love. What does his love liberate us from and liberate us for?
  6. What can this look like this week in your life?
