  1. Describe the perfect worship gathering. What elements would it include or not include? What would the vibe be? Etc.
  2. Read Ezra 3:1-6. Why do the people prioritize reestablishing temple worship?
  3. In Ezra 3, the sacrificial system is set in motion. In light of Hebrews 9:22, what is the importance of sacrifices? According to Hebrews 10:1-10, how is Christ's sacrifice different than all other sacrifices?
  4. Read Ezra 3:10-13. Describe the different emotions when temple foundation is laid.
  5. How are our worship gatherings a glimpse of something better? Does that make you happy or sad?
