Confession of Sin & Words of Assurance
Holy God, divine physician and healer of the sick, we turn to You in our affliction. None of us are without sin, and the effects of our sin have ravaged Your creation. Our minds are troubled with fear, and we grow weary from the state of the world around us. Our hearts are tired and burdened with brokenness. Have mercy on us, LORD, because we are frail. Heal us, LORD, and we will be healed. Save us, LORD, and we will be saved. O sweet Comforter, heal our worry and sorrow with the balm of Your love. We place our cares in Your hands. We place our weariness under Your care. We humbly ask You to restore Your servants to wholeness again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge that You still move and work in this world. And that You do what You do out of love for us. Amen.
"I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” (Luke 5:32)

Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
Amen.

Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy Name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory, forever and ever.
Amen.

Prayer
Lord Jesus Christ, you stretched out your arms of love on the hard wood of the Cross that everyone might come within the reach of your saving embrace: So clothe us in your Spirit that we, reaching forth our hands in love, may bring those who do not know you to the knowledge and love of you; for the honor of your Name. Amen.
