Daylight Savings Time
Hello Parents and Coworkers,
This Saturday night, don't forget to set your clocks one hour forward (for example, change it from 9:00 to 10:00). Does that mean having one hour less sleep? Perhaps. Or you could spend one hour less doing whatever you don't like doing (for example, cleaning the house). Why do we have Daylight Savings Time?
Last Week (March 7)
Sunday Theme We learned about Jesus' teaching regarding good fruit and bad fruit. Actually, this is not primarily referring to the kind of fruit we eat--check out Luke 6:43-44!
Gospel Presentation I had the chance to talk with the Senior children about the Gospel and answer some of their questions. Some of them are ready to begin the baptism class next Sunday.
This Week (March 14)
Sunday Theme We will be learning about one of Jesus' most loved parables: The Prodigal Son (Luke 15). Why do you suppose this parable sticks in our minds and hearts so easily?
Baptism class The children's baptism class will begin this Sunday, but I need to hear from you in order for your child to participate.
Children's Ministry Library Carolyn Nystrom has written several books that introduce young children to important areas of theology, for example, "Who is Jesus?", "Growing Jesus' Way", and "Jesus is no Secret". Take a look at them this Sunday!
Free Lunch for Youth Coworkers Any youth who are regularly involved in service at CCCI will be invited to a free lunch at Chipotle (at 96th and Gray). Sorry, this offer is not for adult coworkers. Youth should meet at the restaurant at 1:00 but wait to go through the line until checking in with me.
Serving the Lord until we see Him face to face,
Ben Malan
Here's the picture that I tried to include last week. I had forgotten to include it correctly.

Why is this called the "SS-120"? SS stands for Sunday School, and you should be able to read the entire e-mail in 120 seconds or less!
