Let it snow!
Hello Parents and Coworkers,
We've seen a lot of snow recently! Even though one snowflake is so small, many of them put together are powerful enough to cause schools to be shut down. Similarly, when people stick together, united in one purpose and empowered by God, they can make a big impact.
Last Week (Feb. 7)
Bible Class Luke 5 tells the story of a miraculous catch of fish when the disciples followed Jesus' instructions. If you have young children, try acting out the story with them (maybe using a bag and toys to represent the net and the fish).
Communion The Seniors who have been baptized participated in communion from 11:25-11:50. If your child has trusted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, please consider having them join the next baptism class (during the month of March).
Strategic Planning The Strategic Planning "Dream Team" had its first meeting where we began to identify the desired outcomes we have for the children of our church. This was an important first step in the process.
This Week (Feb. 14)
Bible Class Do you ever wish that you could see famous people from the past? That's what Peter, James, and John got to do (see Luke 9:28-36)!
Children's Ministry Library When you visit the CM Library this week, be sure to notice The Five Love Languages of Children, available in English and Chinese. It gives great insights into connecting with your children in a powerful way.
Other Upcoming Events
If your child is currently in 1st Grade or higher they will be eligible to attend Twin Lakes Camp this summer. On Sunday Feb. 28 we will be showing a promotion video about Twin Lakes, and the children who have been there will share about their experiences. Please join us in the Youth Room at 11:50!
Serving the Lord until we see Him face to face,
