You can view the sale items by clicking here and check out the free ones by visiting Room 101A at church (things like chairs, student desks, and decorations).

Last Week (July 18)

Sunday Theme The children learned about Saul becoming King (1 Samuel 8-10). Parents, consider asking your parents who the original king of Israel was, then check out 1 Samuel 8:7 for the answer!

This Week (July 25)

Sunday Theme As the new king of Israel, Saul made two big mistakes. This week we will study 1 Samuel 13 (his first mistake, which led God to replace him--see verse 14). But he also made another mistake (recorded in 1 Samuel 15). In these stories, Saul was trying to do good things, but he was not obeying what God had clearly told him to do. Sometimes we are tempted to disobey God in one area, thinking that He will be pleased with the overall result, but a Samuel told him, "To obey is better than sacrifice" (15:22). Children's Ministry Library This is the last Sunday of the Summer Reading Program. Children should bring their passports so that if they have read 5 books, they can receive their prizes.
