Independence Day
Hello Parents and Coworkers,
This week, many of us will celebrate the independence that we experience as a nation. It is important to think about freedom in a spiritual sense too. The apostle Paul talks about the idea of being controlled by either the Spirit of God or the sinful nature (see Romans 8:5-11). Although Christians should not be controlled by sin, that does not mean we can do whatever we want. It means that we have a new master: the Spirit of God.
