Vacation Bible School next week
Hello Parents and Coworkers,
Do your children have plans for next week? Hope Church is hosting Vacation Bible School from June 21-25, each evening from 6:15-8:30. We are invited to bring up to 50 children from CCCI. There are still some spots left, so please let me know if your children would like to attend. The theme is High Seas: Exploring the Mighty Love of God. For a map to Hope Church, click here.
Last Week (June 13)
Sunday Theme One of the most well-known Old Testament judges was Samson (Judges 16). Although he is known for his strength, we must remember that his strength came from God.
Homework Last Sunday we began checking the children's homework. If your child does not yet have a 3-ring binder to use for homework, please help them find one. We can give them a binder label when they bring their binder. Check out the Homework Webpage if you have questions about Sunday School homework.
This Week (June 20)
Sunday Theme Ruth is faithful to her mother-in-law although she had the opportunity to leave when her husband died (Ruth 1).
Children's Ministry Library Summer Reading Program Begins! Last Sunday the elementary children visited the CM Library during the Action Hour. This Sunday, bring your Primary and Elementary children to the CM Library after church to pick up a Passport to Adventure and some great books. See the attached flyer for more information.
Looking Ahead
July 4: Sunday School will be canceled due to the MCCA retreat.
August 15: We will have an afternoon curriculum training for all the Bible teachers.
Serving the Lord until we see Him face to face,
