For Everyone
LENT
We are now in the final week of Lent, a time of preparation as we journey to the cross on Good Friday and the resurrection on Easter Sunday. To help you prepare, read this on Friday and this on Sunday!
SUNDAY
Our next quarter for Sunday School starts this Sunday @ 9:30 am where we'll be exploring what the church is. The class is entitled "Churching" and will explore the following questions:
- What is the church?
- What is the church's purpose?
- How should we live as the church?
- What should our relationship be to the church?
After Sunday School, we -- with Christians around the globe and throughout history -- will proclaim the good news that death has been destroyed (2 Tim 2:10) because . . . Christ is risen -- He is risen indeed! Providentially our text in Luke affirms the death-destroying power of Christ as we look at Luke 7:1-9:50.
EVENTS
- Baptism on Good Friday, April 2
- Compassion Sunday on Sunday, April 25 - Compassion Sunday is a national event that helps us grow in our understanding of God’s very special love for the poor. It’s also an opportunity for each of us to intervene in the life of at least one child in poverty.
- MCCA Summer Conference: Thursday, July 1 through Sunday, July 4 - Join us at Cedarville University as the English program (grades 9 and above) explores persevering in the faith!

PRAYER
- Give thanks for a meaningful Spring Mission Revival last weekend.
- Please pray for those getting baptized this Friday; pray that it would be a meaningful beginning to a life of following the Lord.
- Please pray that we would be able to raise significant funds to fight hunger as we conclude our 30 Hour Famine fund raising.
MEMORY VERSE
God's power: Daniel 4:35
“All the peoples of the earth are regarded as nothing.
He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth.
No one can hold back his hand or say to him: “What have you done?””
