We haven't had this much snow for many years. I am sure everyone enjoyed the excercise. This week's council time speaker is Kyle Lin. Kyle is a high school junior, who also grew up as Awana kid. Parents, I would like to invite you to stay for the Chinese New Year celebration in the sanctuary at 7:30pm. Children will have Awana program in the gym. Please come a little bit early.
I met a wonderful retired couple in Greenwood last week who have been taking care of two children in their house ever since they were very little while their parents worked somewhere else. Both children (ages 9 and 13) have some degree of autism. The couple took care of the children as if they are their very own family members. The wife told me that if they by caring for the children, can lead them to the Lord who loves them, what they do is all worth it.
"Our real wealth is what we invest for eternity."
